What is the Enneagram?
The Enneagram is a system of personality types based on the diagram above. Its accuracy and depth make it a powerful tool for understanding yourself and others and engaging in deep personal growth.
After an Enneagram program, it is not uncommon for people to say things like, “I’ve never gotten my husband until now,” or, “This whole time I thought my boss was a jerk… but now that I understand him, it’s so much easier to work with him.”
Josh is a gifted facilitator of transformative experiences. He listens with his full heart and a profound sense of presence. He somehow attunes to each individual and the collective, creating a beautiful container for healing. There wasn’t a moment where I didn’t feel supported and held by him and the entire group. Together we remembered what is was like to be fully seen, listened to, and accepted for all that we are. The way in which we connected and leaned into those tender and vulnerable places is a testament to his work. Each moment was potent, revealing something incredibly insightful about myself or another. Typically a few weeks after a retreat, life goes back to normal and the experience slowly slips into the background, but Josh’s work is still at the forefront of my mind and has changed the way I lead my life. Truly powerful beyond words.
This workshop will help you to:
- Identify the gifts and liabilities of your personality structure
- Learn how to be the best version of your type
- See the blindspots that are holding you back in your relationships, career, and personal life
- Understand what motivates people different from you
- Communicate with people of each personality type
- Support others in ways that actually help them grow
- See the beauty in other people, even "difficult" ones
- Set better boundaries using body intelligence
- Develop your emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Cultivate mental stillness
- Be “present in all 3 centers” (body, heart, mind)
- Experience your Essential Self
The program is designed for beginner and intermediate Enneagram students, but advanced students are encouraged.

In all honestly, I went into Josh’s retreat weekend somewhat skeptical. I’d already explored a lot of different approaches to self development and wasn’t sure what else was to be gained. And all I can say is WOW, thank god I embarked on such a life-changing weekend. It’s scary to imagine a world where I didn’t attend. Why? I’m still processing, but here are some thoughts: In general I feel like I have more awareness and compassion for myself and others. It may sound trite, but since the retreat I’ve noticed myself observing random strangers with more curiosity and compassion where previously I would have been more likely to get annoyed or pass judgment.
My interactions with colleagues have also been easier and more enjoyable. It’s been harder to get triggered. I also learned to appreciate certain things about myself that I wasn’t aware of before e.g. my connection to my body, and the value of doubling down on that versus taking it for granted. Since the weekend I’ve been working out more and generally feeling more settled and grounded in my body.
I’ve also gained significant clarity regarding important life decisions in front of me–clarity I didn’t realize I needed ahead of the weekend. Scary to think I may have just continued down the default path unaware of the major fork looming ahead.
Finally, I’d say that one of the best things about the weekend was going deep with the incredible group that Josh put together. A lot of the benefits come not just from individual teaching by Josh, but the way he orchestrates the group so that people share and open up to each other with such depth. That’s the magic. I feel grateful for having witnessed such beautiful and heartfelt human interactions. And excited to feel more alive, heart open, and connected to others moving forward.

I offer this program on a pay-what-you-want basis.
What you choose to pay is “all-in" and includes the following:
- 2 1hr individual coaching calls
- 3 2hr group calls
- The workshop binder of original materials written by me
- Food and lodging for 4 nights and 3 days
(Please note that many retreats do not include food and lodging, which helps them quote a lower number and decrease sticker shock; but the "sleepover party" vibe is essential to the experience, so I include it.
I will also ask you to purchase an online Enneagram test and our textbook on your own: a total of ~$30.)
The recommended payment range is between $975– $3475, although you can pay any amount inside or outside that range.
Yes, this is a wide range, and yes I really do mean any amount inside or outside of it, on either side. I will provide transparent documentation about the time and cost of running the workshop, and you will determine, based on your personal financial situation and what you get out of the experience, what to pay. I am placing full trust in you to make this decision. I will not ask questions about how or why you arrive at your number, and I am truly fine with whatever you choose.
Please note that in the application call, I will ask whether you will need to pay less than the recommended range, and if so what you are thinking. This is not to pressure you in any way. It is simply for me to assess whether there are enough funds among all of the participants to cover the cost of the program.
I understand that this is an unusual fee structure and that it may trigger stress, frustration, or suspicion that I am asking you to come up with your own number. "Yeah he says he's fine with whatever, but what he doesn't really want me to pay X..." Wrong. I want you to pay what is best for you.
Sometimes people say things like, "I wouldn't want to take advantage of you or pay less than you deserve." Thank you, that's kind, but unnecessary. I am proposing that we each take emotional responsibility for our side of the financial exchange. You determine what is financially feasible for you, and I will determine whether it is financially feasible for me to have you in the program.
If you would like, I'm happy to have a non-committal exploratory conversation about your amount.
Payment will be due by 6/25, the Friday after the retreat. You may pay before then, but I please consider waiting until after the retreat so that you can consider the impact of the experience in determining your number.
If you would like to pay more than the top amount, by all means, I'm delighted.
Once enough participants are confirmed to run the workshop, I will ask for a $100 deposit to hold your spot. If you would like to request a lower deposit amount, that is fine. The deposit is fully refundable up until the first group call prior to the retreat (5/18), and non-refundable after that.
If you have any questions at all, please reach out.

I have studied and applied the Enneagram for over ten years. During this time I have attended several extended, in-depth classes on understanding and applying the Enneagram. After attending Josh’s three day retreat I gained a deeper understanding in this timeframe than all my previous training combined. The material was clearly presented, the content was rich, but overwhelmingly the value of the class – and what stood apart from all my other training – was Josh’s thorough ability to clearly and concisely distill complex information into easily digestible pieces. It was remarkable. The class was extremely well structured and facilitated deep, meaningful dialogue amongst everyone.

Josh is a gentle, yet firm teacher. He fosters mutual respect and rigorous honesty, which enables deeper learning. Within our group, individuals had varying degrees of experience with introspection. Josh seamlessly brought the group together and met each member at his/her level. I highly recommend taking the Enneagram and Josh as a facilitator.

Josh is an incredible teacher, and it is clear that he has spent years acquiring deep knowledge. Every teaching moment came with stories from his own life that really brought the Enneagram to life. Josh managed to create a safe space in which I felt encouraged to dive beyond the surface and reflect and share who I am and who I might want to become. I highly recommend Josh as a teacher and the Enneagram as a framework to anyone looking to explore on a deep level who they are.

I absolutely loved my first deep dive into the Enneagram, and Josh was a fantastic facilitator. Our group had a few first timers (like myself) and others with a lot of experience with the Enneagram, and Josh handled the dynamic expertly. Josh had a way of making everybody feel safe in sharing their true thoughts and feelings, but at the same time he was able to challenge people to ensure that our sessions together were maximized. I will use what I learnt on our retreat in my daily interactions for the rest of my life, and I recommend the class to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of human behavior/interactions.
